Ultrasound
Airborne Ultrasound is sound waves that are inaudible to the human ear. We use a sound probe to obtain the high frequency noise which is then changed into a sound we can understand. Through the data collected, we can analyze to hear if there is a problem with the equipment being inspected. We can inspect and detect problems occurring in :
-electrical components above 1000 Volts for; arcing, tracking and corona
-steam traps
-compressed air lines
-leaks in Propane, Nitrogen, Hydrogen and other expensive compressed gas systems
-vacuum systems
-watertight integrity
-refrigeration and fuel systems
-bearings for; early failure and lubrication

We take measurements at specific frequencies in decibels that are trended over time. We then couple this data with other technologies to give you the full picture of what’s happening with your equipment.
